An attractive Geto-Dacian 'denarius'

LOWER DANUBE. Geto-Dacians. Circa 2nd century BC. 'Denarius' (Silver, 18 mm, 3.76 g, 9 h), imitating a Roman Republican denarius of C. Thalna (154 BC). Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. C•TΛL / ROMA Victory driving galloping biga to right, holding whip in her right hand and reins in her left. Cf. Crawford 202/1a (for prototype). Lightly toned and very well centered. Good very fine.
